Free Range Livestock

As part of our farm development program we have invested in sheep & goats. In 2014 we plan for a minimum of 300 each, in order to reach target sales of 30 goats and 30 sheep per week. These animals provide sources of organic fertilizer, property maintenance, income and natural beauty.

Sheep: We sell lambs and mature breeders. These animals are available throughtout the year. We can also supply for mutton products by special request.

Goats: Goats are also available as kids and mature breeders. Available for sale throughout the year with goat meat products available by special request.

Livestock Rearing: Periodically we hold courses on livestock rearing. Please call for details.

Product Development Note

Busaino Fruits is a combination of mature, developing and future expansion acreage. With over a 1000 acres to be fully developed we are looking for import/export opportunities. As part of this vision we welcome interest from local and regional farmers who would be interested in participating in our aggregating program as part of our effort to reach critical export mass on more of our developing fruits varieties. We currently bulk sell Jackfruit, Avocados and Mangoes, but since our acreages are still under develop, we welcome input/interest from potential African and overseas markets/partners in any area of agricultural devlopment.

Testimonials

Some comments from our clients.

Michael Nickels

I brought a group of permaculture students to stay and study at the Fruit House. They loved it so much that I will bring a new group of students next year.

Kevin Wilson

I stayed for over a week at the Fruit House and a few months at the Chalet because it was closer to Jinja's night life. As part of the volunteer program it was a great way for me to explore the Jinja area affordably, learn about agriculture and feel great about helping out.
